On the day of your DVSA theory test, it’s best to arrive at the test centre a little early to give yourself enough time to check in and settle before your exam begins.
The theory test is completed on a computer and starts with the multiple-choice section, where you’ll have up to 57 minutes to answer the questions.

1. Using our online revision platform or theory test practice tools, complete all topic tests with a score of 90% or above and successfully pass at least 10 mock theory tests.
2. In your official DVSA theory test, achieve a minimum score of 35 out of 50 in the multiple-choice section and at least 40 out of 75 in the hazard perception section.
